Coming soon!

Our next book Simple Kingdom: Word and Spirit is currently underway. The goal of our book is twofold: to help you see the Bible the way Jesus saw it, and to demonstrate how such a viewpoint can release more of God's power in your own life and the lives of people that you minister to. The book will not theological in the traditional sense, so you won't find discussion about the nature of Biblical inspiration or Scriptural inerrancy and so on. And neither is it a doctrinal exposition on the nature and work of the Holy Spirit. Instead, our book intended to be a practical guide to  help you better understand both the Scriptures and the power of God and how they relate to one another. And to help you along your way, we'll also be sharing some of the steps (and missteps) we ourselves have made and experienced along our own journey towards the kingdom of God. Once this book is finished you'll be able to read it online in its entirety and also download a free PDF copy for yourself for offline reading.

Simple Kingdom: Discipleship

What does it mean to follow Jesus and become his disciple? How does one grow as a disciple? How can we disciple others, and who should do this?

In the Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20 the Lord instructed his followers to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them to observe everything he commanded them.  To fulfill this task we first need to understand the true purpose and goal of discipleship. Simple Kingdom: Discipleship attempts to deal with this subject simply, and Biblically.

You can read our book online or download a free PDF copy. There is also a PDF Study Guide intended for use in small groups which has questions and exercises designed to help readers grow in understanding of what it means to follow Jesus and to apply what they have learned in their lives.

Simple Kingdom: Worship

What is worship? How do you lead worship in a small group setting? How does one write a worship song that can lead others towards greater intimacy with God?

The aim of Simple Kingdom: Worship is to help the church recapture the simplicity and intimacy of the songs and approach to worship that characterized the early years of the Vineyard movement.

You can read our book online or download a free PDF copy.  Our book also includes a selection of fresh new worship songs written by ourselves which are used to illustrate various aspects of the craft of songwriting. And the Songs page of our website has free PDF leadsheets you can download with melody, lyrics and chords for each song in our book and also embedded SoundCloud links so you can listen to recordings of them.

Simple Kingdom: Home Fellowships

John Wimber once said, "The most crucial missing element in the church today is learning how to love. And you can't do it in large churches and large situations. We have several thousand people that gather on Sunday in our fellowship. And you know, you're not gonna learn to love somebody you don't know who's sitting next to you. You've gotta do it in small housgroups. That's why we're so committed in our fellowship that every member should be in a small housegroup."

We believe that home fellowships are the place where church really happens, where the "body of Christ" becomes an experiential reality and not just a theological concept. The aim of Simple Kingdom: Home Fellowships is to get you thinking about what "church" is and what "doing church" should really look like, and then show how you can "do church" by starting home fellowships.
